How does Indy Stroke Rehab Work?I offer stroke rehabilitative therapy through zoom meetings. These services can be billed to insurance as outpatient occupational therapy telehealth services. Once you purchase our services we will schedule the initial evaluation. During the evaluation we will identify your areas of improvement and to set some goals for you in therapy. We will also begin educating you on exercises, compensatory techniques, and other equipment needs to help you reach your goals. We will meet after that for 2 additional follow up visits to continue working on teaching you what to do and how to do it. After these visits you will have to option of continuing to work on your own using the education, exercises, and techniques I taught you; or you can purchase the subscription package and work with me 3 times a week for 30 days.

What insurances do you accept?Currently, I am only credentialed with Medicare to provide Medicare Part B outpatient occupational therapy services. However, we can talk to your insurance to see if they will accept out of network superbills which will cover the cost of your therapy visits.

What qualifies me for my insurance to cover the cost of services?For Medicare to cover the cost of services, you must: 1) Show medical necessity through having a medical condition that would benefit from skilled occupational therapy treatment. 2) Have the expectation that the patient's condition will improve or benefit significantly in a reasonable period of time.

Do you provide other occupational therapy services?Yes, I have experience with orthopedic injuries like wrist fractures or frozen shoulder as well as neurological conditions such as dementia, stroke, and Parkinson's disease. You can contact me to discuss your or your loved one's condition further to see if I can help increase independence. These visits will be covered by insurance if you are a medicare beneficiary.

Where are you located?I am located in the Indianapolis area and provide outpatient in the home therapy services to Medicare beneficiaries. If you live in or around Indianapolis, I can travel to meet you at your home to provide stroke rehabilitation therapy. If interested, please book a consultation and we can discuss your options.
